Books for sale! Exciting!

Yesterday I decided to put myself out there and took my paperback to the School Fair to sell... I made up flyers and attempted to spread the word... I did manage a few sales! Exciting...

It felt brave to do this, especially amongst many friends, and I tried not to be pushy.  I did love when people admired the covers... I will do it again!

    Oooh - that's what you look like! WHY IS EVERONE YOUNGER THAN ME? I have sold books at school fair as well. And at school visits. Good for you!

    Wow, good for you, Vanessa! I've not had the courage to do that here...I'd have to speak Dutch to buyers and I'm too much of a wimp! Well done you!

    Great idea, Vanessa. Hopefully the news will now spread by word of mouth, parent to parent! I know how effectively the playground is for spreading information. Have a fantastic, successful New Year with enough time to write - planning lessons and teaching is a very time-consuming business.
