I have been interviewed again, this time by Skelat. Please go to Skelat Author Interview to read the full interview.
For those of you who have not been interviewed before I thought I would explain the process.
On Twitter you may get approached, or other times they will ask if any authors are interested and you can simply reply and express an interest. This is what happened in this case.
I got a range of questions, targeted specifically at my book (which was great) and answered. Other times, it may be the case of getting a question at a time, it is entirely up to the interviewer.
Personally, I enjoy doing interviews, they allow me to question my reasoning for decisions I have made whilst writing, and I have come up with some great summaries in the process. So it is a win-win situation. My advice is, if you get asked, go for it... what have you got to lose?
I hope you get the chance to read my latest efforts, thanks a lot,
Vanessa :) xx
Lovely for you! I would love to be asked, but so far, it hasn't happened. Probably my own fault. I'm more of a blogger than a tweeter or FB'er. Good luck with the interview!
ReplyDeleteJust read it! Very interesting Vanessa. I should rather say good liuck with books. Being self published is hard work! Good for you that you are so focused!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Val... I wish I was as 'focused' as I sound like I am! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for reading - I appreciate it
DeleteVanessa :) xx
I just read Vals interview! http://t.co/LSLXmOpp
DeleteThey sure do advertise on Twitter! @skelat!
Did they tailor it for you? Was it a good one or simply questions that they could have asked anyone?
ReplyDeleteThis interview was great from a promotional point of view, since they asked specific questions about the Trilogy, and I got the chance to showcase some of the writing through the interview. So, even though the questions could be adapted for another author I thought it was great.
ReplyDeleteHope this helps,
Vanessa :)
What has been your fav interview so far?
ReplyDeleteThe one I posted next - the one with James Smith... He asked me a question at a time via email. It gave me time to consider the answers and him time to come up with great questions...
Deletethanks for reading :) xx
This is my fav interview ever!
ReplyDeleteAwwww... Thanks so much for saying! It amazes me that anyone would take an interest! Lol :) xx hugs
DeleteWhat has been the worst interview you have done?
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a bad one yet to be honest ... Seriously
