Secondly, I think we all feel that fear of a bad review, but just think of it - some of the most successful novelists ever have got lousy reviews, and the more reviews you get, the more likely it is you'll get that one that doesn't like what you've written. You cannot please everyone, no one can. If JK Rowling can get terrible reviews, then it makes me feel better anyway - not that I want it to happen to her either, but at least it shows they can happen to anyone!
